Facebook has unveiled an experimental application named Bars for rappers to create and share content.
The app bears some similarity to the video content app, Tik-Tok; users will be able to record short clips of themselves rapping and share with their audience. And like Tik-Tok and Instagram Reels, Facebook caps these clips at 60 seconds.
With Bars, aspiring rappers can create high-quality content even when they can’t access expensive studios and recording equipment. For instance, it provides many tools for amateur rappers to create great content. These include professional beats, a rhyming dictionary, and an auto-tune feature.
At the moment, it is still in the developmental stages. Because of this, it is not yet available to the public and is only accessible to some iOS users on the US App Store.
