Chinese technology company, Huawei, is releasing HarmonyOS, its Android replacement OS, on June 2.
With the new operating system, it will no longer have to rely on Android’s technical support for its new devices. This move should help the company recover from U. S. sanctions placed on it in 2019.
Before the sanctions on the company, it was the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer. However, in the wake of this action, it has dropped to 6th. With the release of HarmonyOS, it hopes to regain some of its market share in the smartphone market.
At the moment, we do not know what HarmonyOS will look like. However, the company promises that all “New Products” will arrive with the new operating system.
