Microsoft will stop supporting Office and Outlook apps on Chrome OS from September 18th.

Apart from this, Microsoft has rolled out Reading Progress: an AI tool on Teams for teachers conducting remote learning. Reading Progress will give teachers an estimation of their students’ reading abilities – via video and audio recordings. It will be available on Teams apps across all platforms, including Android, iOS, Windows, web, and MacOS.
With this feature, the company is hoping to provide the support which remote education needs to be successful. While the feature’s rollout started on August 24, they stated that it might take two weeks for it to be available across all global regions.
Finally, you can now transcribe Teams meeting, even when you do not attend, with Otter Assistant. Zoom meetings has had this feature for a while. Now, it is also available for Teams, Google Meet, and Cisco Webex meetings.
We highly recommend Otter as its one of the most useful application a person could dream of. The transcribing is only getting better and they are constantly adding improvements.
