Microsoft has announced that Live Transcriptions is finally coming to Teams this month.
The tech giant first informed the public that this feature was in the works in July 2020. However, it just began rolling out.
As the name suggests, the Live Transcription update will provide text recordings of users’ speeches in real-time. And when meetings finish, participants will be able to download the transcript as a word document for perusal. Further, an AI update will identify who is speaking and attribute their speeches to them.
For now, the feature will be available to both Windows and macOS desktop app users. Also, their default language on the app has to be English.
There are several other cloud-based apps you can use for invoicing, payments, and social media management other than Microsoft Teams
