Microsoft is bringing Fluid componenets to Teams later this summer.
With this framework, employees can collaborate on content. Also, it will allow them to copy, paste, and share content.
Microsoft unveiled the Fluid framework last year. It is Microsoft’s attempt to make the transition to hybrid work smoother. It allows Office content to exist independently on the internet.
Fluid’s components are collaborative modules that work across multiple applications. They allow employees to create dynamic widgets of Office applications within Teams and other applications. Hence, employees can collaborate on content in real time while working across different apps.
This update is not limited to Teams alone. Eventually, the company will release it on OneNote, Outlook, and Whiteboard.
Alongside this, Microsoft will introduce the pin feature to save important messages. Also, Teams’ users can now quote messages when they reply.
Finally, the company is bringing Front Row to Teams Rooms later this year. This feature will enable remote participants to be face to face with physical meeting attendees. The aim of this is to minimise the feeling that participants who are not physically present are less important.
